Overview
Opened in May of 2004, this is probably Irkutsk´s best hotel. It is located in the city center in a small park area and looks like a hunting lodge. The interior is very tastefully done - keeping with the cozy, hunting lounge motif. The hotel is also home to a very popular restaurant that serves wild dishes (bear, wild boar, game bird, moose, duck, etc.). There is also a beautiful sauna area with great swimming pool and a nice bar.

Hotel Bar: As with everything else in this hotel, the bar is beautiful and comfortable and keeping with the hunting lodge theme - it has moose and deer heads on the wall.
Zvezda Restaurant: One of the most popular restaurants in Irkutsk. The cozy hall has live music and serves many different types of wild food (moose, bear, game bird, wild boar, etc.). It is a truly delightful place.
