Overview
The Natsionalny Hotel is located in Pechersk Ditsrict in the centre of Kyiv. In the late 19th century the local nobility started building magnificent mansions in this district. At present Pechersk is a big administrative and business city centre where many important government institutions are situated, among them Mariinsky Palace – the President’s residence, the Cabinet of Ministers, Verkhovna Rada, the National Bank of Ukraine. But at the same time Pechersk is a quiet nook with shady parks scattered on the steep banks of the Dnipro River, cosy cafes and restaurants, exciting museums and historical monuments.
