This area was formerly the haunt of the Russian writer Dostoevsky. His novel Crime and Punishment took place very near the place where you are staying. Walk the twisted, narrow streets of this region to get a feel of the St. Petersburg of the 19th century. You can also enjoy many of the other attractions that this area has to offer such as Nikolsky Cathedral, the Marinsky Theater the embankment of Canal Griboyedovna, or the rivers Moika or Fontanka. St. Isaacs Cathedral is also not far as is Russia´s main synagogue. This is a truly interesting and unique area of the city.

The apartment is located in the city center of Saint Petersburg, on the embankment of beautiful Fontanka river and just 5 minutes walking distance from the Vladimirskaya (red line) and Dostoevskaya (yellow line) metro stations. The entrance to the building is from a very nice historic courtyard. The main city attractions are all within a few minutes walk from the apartment. There are lots of nice restaurants, coffee shops and bars in this area. The location of this apartment gives you many opportunities to relax and have fun, as well as to live and travel within the Saint Petersburg city center. |

Russian airport and station taxis are unregulated and the drivers ask for rates as high as 50 EURO or more to take newly arrived guests to the city center. Our drivers are polite and drive safely and we offer very good, competitive rates. Our driver will meet you at your arrival point with a signboard and take you directly to your hotel or apartment.
