Overview
The Budapest Museum Central is a small, new, beautifully designed accommodation located in the heart of historical center of Budapest. The building is within walking distance from the main administrative, business and cultural districts of the city, the famous shopping area of Vaci Street, the pedestrian Raday Street with nice restaurants and cafes and the romantic Danube river embankment with restaurants on elegant boats. The hotel is located in a 19th century building directly across from the Hungarian National Museum – many of its rooms have spectacular views onto the Museum – one of Hungary’s most famous landmarks. Visitors cannot find a more central location with all major transportation hubs only minutes away, two nice guarded parking areas at walking distance and close to some of the best and traditional thermal Spas of Budapest. The building is only a 4 minute walk from the Astoria Metro station and a 1 minute walk from the Kalvin Ter Metro station.

Directions
At the newspaper kiosk behind the airport shuttle desk in the lobby, you can buy transportation tickets for the bus, metro, and tram. Purchase two tickets or a book of 10 tickets. You can also buy tickets from the driver if you have small bills (not over 1,000 HUF).
Exit the airport and turn left. At the end of the terminal, there is a bus stop.
Take bus 200 to the very end of the line to the Blue Metro station at Kobanya-Kispest. You will see an escalator going into the building.
At the top of the escalator, walk halfway through the building and you will see the entrance to the Metro on the left. You can take any train that is there, since this is the beginning / end of the line.
Do not forget to validate your ticket before you enter the metro area in the red or orange validation boxes: one for the bus, one for the blue metro line. Do not validate your tickets all at one time, but each time you change lines.
Get off at Kalvin ter. At the top of the escalator turn right and then right again. Find the exit showing Múzeum körút - 9 Kobanya Kispest fele - 112 Buda fele.
From the top of the steps we are in 50m, next to the restaurant.

The property consists of standard double rooms which are large enough to accommodate an extra bed for families if necessary. Every room is equipped with satellite television, free high speed Internet access, telephone, work area, sound proof windows, air conditioning, heated floor and of course a nice bathroom with shower and radiators for towels. In particular air conditioning and heated floor make the rooms comfortable during any season. Many of the rooms look out onto the National Museum of Hungary – one of Hungary’s most famous landmarks. The Budapest Museum Central is perfect for both tourists and business people coming to the center of Budapest. The property is located in a restored 19th century building with an inner courtyard typical of Budapest architecture of the past century. The ceilings are high and the colors of the rooms are light giving our guests a feeling of space, light and calm which is always good after a long day of sightseeing or work.
