Overview

The hotels´ building was erected in 1898 by the well-known Moscow architect Alexander Ivanov. Featuring a stunning facade embellished with decorative figures overlooking the river and a more modest front for the Balchug Street side, the new building displayed architectural elements from the era of neoclassicism. With 9 meeting rooms ranging from 4 to 180 persons and a Business Centre for full administrative support, every meeting is a success at the Baltschug. The hotel´s Atrium is an ideal space for art exhibitions, receptions as well as cocktail parties for up to 300 people. For breathtaking views of Kemlin and St Basil´s, the library on the 8th floor is the perfect venue. Accomodating up to 60 persons, the setting as the name suggests is that of a traditional library with wood panelling and classics of Russian literature adorning the shelves.
